Andrew L. Hicks
President
Andrew
Hicks founded Tripoint Properties, Inc. in February of
2001 as an entrepreneurial real estate development company
focused
on acquiring well located, under-performing properties
and redeveloping them into highly desirable, economically
performing
assets. Mr. Hicks’s development philosophy of creating
value is centered on the understanding of each property’s
future role in the local community in order to determine
its highest and best use. Since the inception of Tripoint
Properties, Mr. Hicks has been committed to the redevelopment
of older, existing properties and the remediation of
their environmental issues in an effort to reduce sprawl.
He
also emphasizes the importance of reusing and recycling
existing
building materials wherever possible in an effort to
minimize waste.
Prior to establishing Tripoint Properties,
Mr. Hicks served as Vice-President of Acquisitions for Lubert-Adler
Management,
a Philadelphia-based Real Estate Opportunity Fund. While
at Lubert-Adler, Mr. Hicks sourced and acquired over $500
million of value-add real estate throughout the United States
and
Canada.
Mr. Hicks has also served as the Director of Acquisitions
at Brandywine Realty Trust, a Radnor, Pennsylvania based
office and industrial Real Estate Investment Trust. While at
Brandwine
Realty Trust, Mr. Hicks acquired over $1.6 billion of suburban
office and industrial properties in the Mid-Atlantic region.
His work experience in the early 1990’s included
employment with MetLife in their Mid-Atlantic real estate
division and
with Johnson Controls World Services.
Andrew Hicks is a
1988 graduate of the United States Naval Academy and
served on active duty in the United States Navy
during the Gulf War and later in the US Naval Reserves.
Anthony L. Hicks, C.P.A.
Chief Financial Officer
Anthony
Hicks joined Tripoint Properties in March 2001 bringing with
him over 30 years of valuable experience in accounting,
job costing, real estate, and construction. Prior to joining
Tripoint Properties, Mr. Hicks served as the Chief Financial
Officer for Kinsley Construction, a large; York, PA based construction
company. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hicks worked as an accountant
in the real estate group with Arthur Anderson and then with
the Fidelity Mutual Life Insurance Company where he served
as the Vice President of Real Estate Finance. While at the
Fidelity Mutual Life Insurance Company he was responsible for
the financial operations of real estate projects in the company’s
$50 million equity portfolio.
Anthony Hicks graduated from the University of Maine with
an accounting degree and served in the United States Army.
Robert C. Keeney, Jr.
Controller
Robert
Keeney joined Tripoint Properties in October 2005. Mr. Keeney
is responsible for the financial analyses of each
of the properties in the Tripoint portfolio as well as the
operations of the development company. Mr. Keeney communicates
with Tripoint’s investment partners and is responsible
for the financial reporting for each property. In addition,
Mr. Keeney interacts with tenants, contractors and supervises
the general accounting and property accounting for each project.
Prior to joining Tripoint, Mr. Keeney served for seven years
at Controller at USA Direct, a direct mail company in York,
PA. His work experience also includes two years as an Account
Analyst for Comcast Metrophone.
Robert Keeney graduated with an accounting degree from Wesley
College in Dover, Delaware.
Karen Hicks
Marketing Director
Karen Hicks
joined Tripoint Properties in May 2003. Her primary responsibilities
at Tripoint Properties include the marketing
and leasing of available space in the company’s property
portfolio, either directly or with the assistance of local
brokerage firms. Mrs. Hicks maintains the company web site
and works to expand the Tripoint Properties brand. Her marketing
efforts include establishing strong relationships with local
government officials and business leaders in the communities
where Tripoint Properties works. Mrs. Hicks spent most of her
professional career working for IBM marketing mid-range computer
systems to small and mid size companies.
Karen Hicks graduated from the University of Maryland with
a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.
